WHAT WE DO

Tournaments
Debate Korea opens many competitions such as the WUDC and Cornell-Yonsei Middle and High School Competition to cultivate more debaters in Korea.

Programs and Events
In order to spread the culture of debate in Korea, Debate Korea conducts programs such as the National Pension Service Senior and Youth Social Issue Debate Academy and supports the management of various events.

Culture Exchange
Debate Korea holds various events to give opportunities to experience each other's culture through multicultural exchanges.
PROJECTS

Korea WUDC 2021
World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC) has been held annually since its inception in the UK in 1981, and is the world's most prestigious debate tournament. Debate Korea is hosting the first WUDC in Northeast Asia in July 2021.

2021 Seoul Youth Policy Debate
The 2021 Seoul Youth Policy Debate is a competition where young people from all over the country gather to propose policy ideas and discuss the effectiveness of policies. The tournament was hosted by Yonhap News Agency along with the Seoul Institute, organized by Debate Korea.

KOLIC
The 1st KOLIC (Korean Language International Debate Championship) is where Korean-speaking people from all over the world gather to discuss current issues and exchange culture through Korean language.
